Josiah Wedgwood started producing china at Staffordshire, England in the year 1750, initially as the apprentice and later all by himself. Wedgwood is well known for Jasperware, prepared in the reputed wedgwood blue. Wedgwood created Creamware also which later became famous as “Queen’s Ware” when his company obtained was awarded with the royal seal by Queen Charlotte in the year 1763.
