3D card making is a fun activity. 3D cards not only excite children but adults too. They are complete marvel to look at. You can make 3D cards with cartoon characters, natural scenery, any other beautiful or images. Get them involved in card making using these easy steps.
For 3D card making, first, get the materials that you need to get the pictures, such as a computer with image editing software, an internet connection and a quality printer. Download images from the net, which are allowed so that you don’t break the copyright. Image should be attractive yet not too complicated to cut.
Next, accumulate the materials required for making the card. Select a paper that is of good quality and is thick enough to hold the embellishments particles that you want to stick on your 3D card. Select a nice paper that can bring out the images well. For instance, a 120 gsm satin finish paper can be a best choice. Also keep a pair of sharp scissors, 3D foam pads, glue, embossing tool and a mat ready for use.
Get four prints of your selected image. Using PaintShop Pro, establish the right mix of the image in cutting and also pick out the 3D bits. Identify the points to be highlighted in the picture. Cut the pieces carefully and assemble them on your card. Use 3D foam pads to build the images. Leave to dry and your 3D card making activity is complete.
